The purpose of this podcast is to change the narrative and perception about being a black man in America. The media and our society in America has portrayed black men as persons to be feared, thugs, rappers, just athletes, deadbeat fathers, cheaters, and much more negative adjectives. However, there are many more black men who are good husbands, leaders, fathers, coaches, mentors, business owners, brothers, sons, and so much more. In each episode, you will be introduced to a black man who is changing the narrative in their community. Our goal is to celebrate these men who are truly making a positive impact in their everyday lives.

Tionne talks about some of the sacrifices he's had to make in order to pursue his dreams. This includes him working in Illinois, while his wife and 7 children are still living in Minnesota.
